Default Tentative Game Plan For the Front End

-Just an idea. My only hangup is in regards to C-West fit. I've never owned any of their products, and it seems that they go from the one extreme to the other when it comes to expense. I've known of C-West for years, but I don't know anyone that's owned any of their components.

I intend on painting the hood (LBP to match), while leaving CF accents where the NACA duct and scoop are located.

The smarter idea would probably involve using the same 3k for a down payment on a good Turbo rig.

man, there are better places to spend money. if u plan on going turbo then dont waste your time with this stuff. i never had the intensions of going FI so im all NA. i rather put that money down on gears. which i am. bumper is hot though.

the problem i see with the hood and the intake is that they might not line up and there goes some wasted money and i know that hood is a whole lot of tien (vietnamese money). the hood would be great for K&N FIPK. i dont know anything about that intake.

Actually that hood is quite inexpensive in comparison to most authentic CF bonnets at about $900 (depending on the current yen to dollar rate). I'm not quite sure of the intake price (although $1000 comes to mind), but if it makes power comparable to the Password, or J's then that price tag would be fairly reasonable as well.

BTW, the point you make about the K&N is a actually a good, and much more reasonable alternative that I haven't thought of.

The hood and intake lining up is definitely something I've considered, and I'm not quite sure if I could ever confirm whether or not they would without speaking to someone thats tried the same combination.

If everything does work in conjunction with one another, then it would be a pretty unique and different look. For me personally, that means something as well.

You could also use that hood to do an intake on your turbo.. It's on the same side. Just build a box that seals to it

Well the intake looks like the OEM but carbon fiber. I would have to say I know with my J's the intake came to ways one to fit the j's bumper which would allow air to flow through the bumper directly into the intake. Then the other part which flowed down into the middle part of the OEM bumper still allowing air to be forced into the car.

I would however agree with Alan on this one if your going FI... buy an AEM right now to solve the mod bug and save money sir.

Ask Scott about the bumper as it looks like the one he has. If it is C- West and not replica it should fit great. The make every part for the s2000 carbon fiber. There C-West race car is insane!!

I actually ran an AEM on my 99 Si for years, and loved it. How does it perform in comparison to the K&N on the S2K?
