Ok, so lots of yall know that I got the NSX sold (almost) Now I am looking for a new ride.

I have three options in mind that I want a few opinions on. The decision is ultimately mine, but I just want to see what you guys think.

Choice 1 - A low mileage 03 EVO 8. It is in great shape, and would be a great DD and a fun car to tune and take to the track once or twice a year

Choice 2 - A 60k mileage R33 Skyline. With red nismo carbon-kevlar seats, 5 pt racing harnesses. 7"touchscreen with all the toys, gps, bluetooth, dvd, cd, ipod, memory cards, etc. it also has a carbon fiber dash kit, steering wheel. the car also has a carbon fiber floor strut which is what the 5 pt harnesses hook to. the last mod is a hks ssqv blow off valve And an even trade for the NSX



Choices 3 - Lexus LS-430 VIP style

 

EVO

 

i say the evo because if its bobby's you know its been taken care of and even though that skyline is hot you never know what kind of abuse its been through

Skyline hands down......wny because.....


A) you know its well taken care of. Its such a pain in the ass just to get one. Who in their right mind would trash one ya know.

B) RHD FTW. Think about messing with people on the interstate. Give Bethany a dummy steering wheel and watch the fun.

C) Are you going to see another Skyline driving around in Shreveport????

D) Its a Skyline.....How many people can say the driven one, let alone say they actually own one.

E) And come on with a car that has a nick name GODZILLA!!!! Whats not to like.

 

I would steer clear of that Skyline... you do all realize that the skyline pictured is not a GT-R, it is just a regular skyline which wasnt much of a performance car. Buying that would be kind of like buying a 2 door Nissan Maxima that you cant get parts for in America. People in te US get excited because they think all Skylines are AWD turbo monsters, but Nissan makes base models of the Skyline as well. Think of the difference between a Lancer, a Lancer Rally Edition, and an Evo.

As for a "VIP" style Lexus, I will say that I like LS model Lexi, but the thought of doing something that has been dubbed "VIP style" makes me cringe. You might as well say, I think Im alot more important than I actually am because I spent alot of money on wheels that dont fit and a suspension that drives like a logging truck.

Out of the choices offered, i would pick up an EVO... but I would personally rather have an STI than an Evo.

yeah see that skyline aint sh t get the evo. hey you could paint the evo a yellowish green and put squares on the side and say it was paul walkers car from 2f2f
