Not a joke. I have had this old car for several years. My grandfather gave it to me. I don't have the time or inclination to keep it up. It has been just sitting for about two years. My brother and I got it out the other day and cranked it, ran it for awhile, put a new battery and points in it. It has an exhaust leak. 250 6 cylinder with a manual choke carb. Interior is in good shape. No A/C, has AM radio. Needs new tires. I have decided to sell it. I have no idea what it is worth? Anybody have an idea on a ballpark figure?
hrm... maybe check ebay and see if anyone else is selling Pontiac Ventura's? possibly, you could check classic car sites and look for or post a classified of some sort...
Is that a 72? Very little difference between 69 - 72 models. It doesn't look to be in all that bad of shape but I don't think it's going to be worth much since it's not a big car with the collectors. I don't have a clue what to tell you.
It is a '71. To the point of wanting to get rid of it. It holds a lot of sentimental value in that I grew up with it. Still, I don't have time to work on it. Do you think $800 is to much to ask? Had two people, off the street this week, ask about it. I had no idea what to tell them.
Not that you want to hear this, I would give you$400 for it. We are going to have a dirt track race at the ranch in Texas during Easter. I already got my car (80 Buick).
Just thought I would pass it along. Hell, if you want, you can race it!!!!
Ashley sold her 1992 Ford Taurus with 100K miles for $600. That was its book value. It had a working AC, but no heater. It was all power and it worked.
So honestly... if the car runs and can be depended on I would say $500. If it has an extras like heat and AC I think you could get as much as a grand.
