Default Wheel Offset Machining

I have a great set of rims, but kinda need a higher off-set to fit wider tires in the back. That
and I dnt want to cut out my rear fenders yet. So after abit of searching found what looks
like a legitimate shop to try and have my rims shaved...Im gonna check them out next week
and see how much their work is. Hope this helps out some other people..

A good calculator for off-sets: http://www.rimsntires.com/rt_specs.jsp

that sounds a bit dangerous. do you know someone else that has done it? Just thinking, cold working the wheels is gonna add stresses to the material. That and if an engineer designed the wheels then they are probably that thick for a reason. If it was an industrial designer it was just done to look pretty. have no answers, just some thoughts that ran through my head.

I wouldn't do any more than 5mil. my wheels are very think. but I will continue to try to find a shop to pull my my fenders out first. I think I should be able to tuck with a good pull and some camber....

Thats actually very easy fitment for the S... A 255 in the rear and a 225 in the front with some slight camber and a little rolling will fit nicely.

IMO do not shave your wheels for fitment.

Just to give you an idea of how aggressive wheel specs are possible on the S:

Front 18x9 +21 Offset
Rear 18x11 +26 Offset

I realize you're not looking for anything like this, but your setup is very mild compared to this. We also have a set of Equips in 18x8.5 +45 and 18x9.5 +45 on my friends S. 225 Fronts and 255 Rears. We have Shine fenders and over-fenders, but they're not necessary for that spec...

Sonuds good, thanks I have been thinking of driving down to Texas any ways...Not any body shops here in LR that I would trust to pull out my fenders..You know any good shops that can hook up some fender magic?!!! I wanna get them rolled/pulled, before I buy new rear tires. I got coilovers coming soon so I'd like to get that hooked up so I can drop my car..

Not off the top of my head, but we'll find you somewhere! PM me if you want to install your suspension. You're welcome to come over and do it here! I've done at least 5 s2ks so far!
