yeah i tried autocross a good few times before and never really "destroyed" a set of tires.. i ran on one set of tires for like 3-4 events plus regular daily driver and last over a good year.


and for the class goes..

just an 02 s2000

has coilover suspension, intake, header, exhaust, on regular street tires.

If you have a OEM clutch you should run STR if not you would be in BSP.. If you body work is not stock you could fall in several classes.

o yeah sorry its a aftermarket clutch also.. so i guess i'm in BSP.

Ok, so Destroyed maybe wasn't the best term, but I def noticed some extra tire wear after the event.

One standard autox event with 4-6 runs *MIGHT**MIGHT* use as much tread as you driving in a spirited manor for a week.

I just don't want someone to think its hard on there cars...

A little more ware on tires yes, brakes-no, I have never used up a set of brakes on an autox car. I have sold them all before then. Shocks maybe, clutch depends on the car and how crappy the clutch it, EVO- crap clutch , S2000 Crap clutch.
