I'm a hard liquor drinker myself, but when I'm paying $4-5/drink and NOT getting wasted, there is a problem, and beer is the solution to watered down drinks.

I had to start avoiding the clubs and bars bc some drunk would always mistake me for someone else and try to start a rumble.
Nothing more annoying than a drunk calling you by someone else's name while swinging a bear bottle at your head.
