I think there are enough "Japanese S2000" web sites to keep the Japanese owners/enthusiasts busy (such as the Red Viper's site). Besides, most Japanese are more comfortable with the Japanese language than with English, so there is little incentive for them to come here.

There are some English speakers here in Japan that are enthusiasts and owners .... but not enough to make it entertaining to come to this forum so often

James, do you actually live in the Tokyo area? Do you hang out with the Japanese S2000 owners? I spent a week in Japan and only saw a few S2000s, but I see pictures of a lot of them together in Japan. I wonder where they all hide.

I do live in the Tokyo area, but no, I don't hang out with the Japanese owners. Firstly, because I just don't have the time that I would like to spend hanging out and driving the car and secondly, because my Japanese is VERY limited and that makes it hard to hook up with these guys ......

But do you see many S2000s aroung the Tokyo area? I only saw two areound Tokyo, a yellow one in the Ginza area and another one somewhere else -- by the way, I also saw a new Lotus Elise just outside of the Ginza area.

They are not that common .... I would say that I usually see one just about every day, but would rarely see more than 2 or 3 in a day. Boxsters on the other hand, I see probably 20-30 every day going to and from work ....
