Thumbs up Fitting of Side Strakes

Hey Crew ...
i was wondering if you could help a brother out ?

I am about to buy a set of Side strakes for cheap , however the passenger side strake is missing the "Lower Strake" ( its the piece of rubber that you put on before you screw into the side strake ) i was wondering if you guys ( or girls ) would know if i can still fit them onto the car with out it ?
I have rang honda and they told me i would need to purchase the entire strake

So anny feed back would be much appreciated

cheers
Vuey .

Excuse my ignorance, but isn't "Strake" a nautical term? Could you perhaps explain what it is.
