Default Hello~!

Hi, my name is Dan from Toronto

I visited Tokyo last July to buy parts for S2k.

And I'll be there again, beginning of December to buy parts again.

I need some advice on traveling from Tokyo to Kobe. The best means of transportation in terms of price and comfort.

And if anyone is involved in Shipping or Automotive industry I have many questions for you~!

Oh and any holidays for beginning of December?

Cheers~

Dan

Hi Dan, the only way to travel is the shinkansen! anything else takes far too long.

Yes it is, you can buy tickets from the Station or from a discount ticket shop but that wont save so much, what I would recommend you do before you leave the US is to be a Japan rail pass for the duration of your stay, that will enable you to unlimited travel on any trains in Japan including the bullet train. Since the cost of a ticket to Kobe is about 200 US one way it is well worth getting the pass, I think that your travel agent will help you with that. It is only available to non residents :-(

Kye is right. Get a rail pass and even just doing one journey from Tokyo to Kobe and back you will save much $$$$.
