My friend is going back to tokyo next month to visit his family,
I am looking for suggestions for modifictations that he can bring me back ...
what are the best air filters for bhp gain and also noise???
Thanks
My friend there are a lot of intakes tha can give you noise & h.p...
Take for example these companies:
1.AEM
2.Injen
3.Mugen
4.j's Racing
5.comptec
6.K&N
7.Fujita
8.Spoon
Personaly i have the injen intake...It sounds very good and i gained h.p....
check it......
Try to bring complete intakes not just filters....They are much better...
Do bear in mind that many CAI's will either require cutting the underside of the bonnet, or you could always purcahse a new aftermarket bonnet. My Mugen CAI required me to cut the underside.
As for power gains. There isn't much to be had from just a CAI along. A CAI, manifold, exhaust and ECU will be required to get any half decent hike in power. This, as you can probably imagine will cost a bit.
Here's a photo of my Mugen, just for comparison.
For noise I think a few people on the UK site talk highly about the K&N's. I've had no personal experience so I can't comment.
