Default JDM LCD screen size?

Hi all

I was wondering if anyone knows what LCD size is used in the JDM version of the SatNav. I am trying to get a unit fitted here and have ordered the trim surround for the dash cutout. I need to really find out what screen size to buy. your response is appreciated.

Thanks

Hi Steve,

Thanks for the post. Can I ask what the part number for the item is? Also is this something you sourced in the uk and more importantly is it red? If it is red and you would like to sell it. Please let me know and I will be happy to do a deal with you, assuming you didn't use it or give it away since.

Also I notice that you installed a 7" LCD. Did you have any problems doing this, did you have to mold the air vent pipes at all etc? All comments are appreciated. I am going to get the install done soon and any help with the matter would be appreciated, maybe some ics too. How and where exactly did you know where to install in the dash or did you just cut the dash open?

Thanks.

For just a flat screen you should have plenty of room without having to modify the air duct. For the in-dash screen like mine I had to modify the passenger side air duct

That really looks nice. You are also right in assuming that I don't want to mount a complete 1din unit but rather the screen only. I need the part for the trim surround in red so I can get the shop to fit it in without having to do a custom frame for the LCD. Thanks for the pics and info.
