Lets Get together!
Hi All!
Last time I am gonna try this!!!
Sunday 12th of September how about getting together for a drive ???
Meet at Ebina SA 10am on Sunday, head to Hakone Turnpike and then down to the Izu skyline area for a spot of lunch ?
I have three S2000 owners where I work so they will most likely come along.
Anyone up for that? Weather permitting !
Cheers

Hi David, Ebina is a service area on the Tomei Highway about 30 mins from the entrance to the highway.
At the moment there are no spare seats but if that changes I will let you know.

Hey Kye,
I appreciate all the enthusiasm you put into the JP forum, don't give up on us yet.
As always, it was bad timing for me because I was still on holiday in France. Wish I had the S to rip through Provence. Instead, I rented an Alfa Romeo 147 (diesel) to chug around. Much better than I expected, but I was happy to return to the S
However, on my return I find a note stuck to the my car door explaining that the neighboring car had unfortunately caused a mother of a dent and paint chip to the my passenger side fender with his car door
What bad luck!
The good thing is the (nice?) guy left all his contact details and now it looks like his insurance co. will take care of the repairs.
This was much better experience compared to the previous time when a neighbor performed tree surgery. The tree was in his garden, but parts of it over hung my baby. He had (stupidly) allowed falling branches land onto my car. Needless to say, body work had multiple dimples, scratched taillight, wonky rear bumper. Most of the damage was located at the rear so that the top was unscathed. Phew. Had to track down the culprit and use a friend lawyer to get him to cough up the dough. This guy left no note nor apologized for his error
The strange thing is that in both incidents mentioned above, I had spent a lot of effort to give the full Zaino treatment. Just coincidence? Am I getting superstitious?
