Default The Twin Ring Motegi Race Track

This is an interesting site for some active and passive driving thrills.

Fun for all families and serious motorheads alike.

Check it out at:
http://www.twinring.jp/english/index.html

Located in Tochigi, it has 2 race track circuits, an oval and road course plus all the usual trimmings to make your stay enjoyable.

There's even an occasion to drive your own car or use theirs. Dirt track, karts and even an active safety training park.

Anyone been there? What do you think?

Looks very cool. I fancy a go on the road course "family driving" experience. By family I'm hoping they mean like Schumacher, Montoya etc ;-) It looks like you have to follow behind some kind of people carrier but maybe you can hang back a bit? All done by Honda as well it seems. Let's go!

Welcome back! You've got the tightest schedule I think James so suggest a date and we'll try to work around it. I can't do Dec 1 as I have that confounded Japanese test but otherwise am ok.

Another suggestion is meeting for lunch on a weekday if anyone else works around the Kamiyacho area (minus the cars!).

Mini Meet:
Sorry John, I was away on biz. To answer your mini-meet (minus cars), I work in Onarimon, just down the road from Kamiyacho. Do you know the Atago building? No I don't work there, but there are good (but busy) restaurants there. Open to other places for lunch.

Twin Ring circuit:
It is a must!!!!!! Shall I inquire?

Friday it is then. I'll wait at 1145 outside the mailbox shop on the lower robby (sort of underneath Starbucks) wearing glasses & a baseball cap.

Squash sounds a bit energetic but if you can get us into the bar that might be a laugh! Only the top bods in our company get American Club membership and I ain't one of them!
