Default Winter tyres

Hi guys

I am looking for winter tyres for my S in Scotland (so I don't get stuck on my way home for xmas ).

After reading the North American threads, I reckoned Bridgestone Blizzak LM-22s were what I was looking for, but Bridgestone don't import them to the UK.

Can you get them in Japan? - if so, then I might be able to get them via one of the companies that imports Japanese car parts to the UK.

Failing that, are there any other winter tyres you recommend?

(use will be mostly winter tarmac, rain, but occaisonal slush & hard packed snow)

Cheers

Euan

Hi, I checked the Bridgestone Japan site for you: -

http://www.bridgestone.co.jp/news/t_030701.html

They are available here as BLIZZAK REVO1, the text I am sure you cant read but at the bottom of the page you will see a table of available sizes.

Good Luck and careful of granite hedges in the ice ....

Thanks Kye

I checked the site, but the sizes are too small for the S unfortunately.

I think I'll have to resort to another brand -

I'll do my best to avoid the "Granite Hedges"
