I thought I had told you .... 77 in a 50 limit .... speed trap on a Sunday morning ....

Y18k fine and three points .....

Supposed to be taking things easy for the next 3 months as one more offence will see me with a suspended licence

Bummer about the detector. I just leave it on no matter where I am driving now. By going easy for the next three months means your tyres will last that bit longer.

These days traffic cops in Tokyo seemed well seasoned to gaijin folk don't they?

I'm not surprised to say that my Japanese driving license will remain "evergreen" and the Gold class status will be forever out of reach.
