Default Congratulations to Mark Webber

After scoring a pole position in a stunning qualifying session, Mark looked like he had thrown it all away not 5 seconds into the race when he aggressively bumped Rubens Barrichello and was given a drive through penalty. The penalty only spurred him on for what was undoubtedly the drive of his career and a smashing win. Awesome race!

I remember his first F1 at Albert park in Melbourne. He finished in the top 5 in a Minardi which made a big difference to the transport costs for the team. At the time, if you finished top 5 then Bernie would cover the air transport for half a season.

About time Webber won a GP, yesterday afternoon I put Mark's RB5 as my desktop wallpaper and funnily enough he wins the race... not sure if that has anything to do with his win, but here are the wallpapers.

Anyone watch the DTM after?

Hmmm, I expect it had more to do with him driving real fast.

Hungarian Grand Prix this weekend, new driver on the grid to replace STR driver Sebastien Bourdais is 19 yr old Jaime Alguersuari... should be interesting to see how well he gets out of everyone's way.

Yes soap opera writers couldn't even dream of scripting that one. F1 is back!
