was dr dre from NWA or public enemy? can't remember it was so many years ago.
growing up during the early 90's and these guys were so influential in young angry male teenagers. also metallica was huge as well along with nirvana.
i don't think there are any comparable new music now that could be considered ground breaking. they certainly were innovators in their field.
i don't listen to them anymore but when a classic pops up somewhere i will sit and listen.....good times.
