Hey everyone, as I mentioned in another thread I proposed to my girlfriend on the weekend and she submitted, err I mean said yes! I'll bump the ring thread when I have some better pics but in the mean time, thanks for the help in that area
I had the ring made and it was finished a couple of months ago but Alicia's parents went overseas so I held out! It was a great weekend and a relief to finally do it! I think by the time it came around to doing it I wasn't really nervous just excited. I had planned to do it at The Olde Killcare Store which is the restaurant we first went to and still visit but it was such a nice day we had a couple of drinks on the balcony at my parent's holiday house and I got down on one knee and popped the question.
We still went to dinner and they put on a nice do for us. In fact I have to plug that cafe/restaurant and the spot. If you head up the pacific highway and want a change of destination head to killcare/hardy's bay and have a look it's an amazing spot. My parents were smart enough to buy a place up there about 15 years ago and I still go there a lot especially during summer.
So everything went well and Alicia was totally surprised and happy. Both families got together at iguana joes (gosford) for lunch yesterday and we're back at work today!

Cheers!
Definitely soon-ish
Not going to rush it but we want a summer/spring wedding so it'll be around this time next year. Probably up around the central coast somewhere I think.
