Default L/P plate holders

I see quite a few cars around with a black plastic L or P plate holder tucked under the number plate, anyone know where to buy these?? I have checked a few larger servos and had a look on the SuperCheap website but nothing.

I really need one for my bike as the damn plate keeps flicking back and rubbing on the tyre and making a motorbike noise!!

bigW has some but as far as i remember they're quite expensive. like $25 mark for just a plastic holder. i.d just get 2 plastic plates, glue them together to reinforce each other and screw it under your plate.

Thanks guys, will check out Repco and making one would certainly be the best option if I had to time to do it.

I would have thought the if SuperCheap sold them they would be on their website? Maybe they don't have everything on the site, not unusual for an Australian company website!

That sort of behaviour is frowned upon in these parts.

Am I missing something here?

You are talking about a bicycle right? What plate do you need to put on it? Is this a new requirement (since 1996 - the last time I rode a bicycle on the road)

Yep, haven't you heard Cashout? First 3 months on a bicycle you have to display an L plate and not exceed 80kph.
