Downloading as we speak.

Have not tried Sushi Samurai. My favourite take away place is Momo Yama in the Grove at Neutral Bay (underneath Dymocks).

hmmm .. not familiar with that.

Sushi Samurai is on the corner, opposite the coles, next door to the birkenstock shoe shop.

Good value for money, although they have slightly increased in price due to their popularity, but they now have a sushi buffet .. freshly made to order

sukiyaki udon there is oishii!! lol

Ahh, I know the place, although it's a Woolies.

Have you tried Ryo's Noodles on Falcon St? Highly recommended and there is always a queue.

there's also a decent ramen place at Artarmon station, although most people go there for the katsu-curry.

Visit type one. Its in the tokyo area and off a JR line. Takes about 10-15 minutes to walk there from the train station. On the spoon site you should be able to see directions. Also in osaka visit Js, once again easy to get too from a train line, the guy there will give you a english tour and answer any questions. Super nice guy. Montegi is also worth a day trip too.

Enjoy your time in Japan Aus.

Unfortunately, I can't offer any tips. The last time I was in Japan (Osaka and Kyoto) was in 2001 and - apart from visiting J's Racing - the details are sketchy from too much booze and late nights.
