Default Port?

I got a bottle as a courtesy from one of my suppliers last month. I finished a bit early today and thought it was a good time to crack the bottle open.

Unlike other spirits, I find the taste gets unsavory for me after 1/2 glass. I actually liked the first few sips but finishing a glass required some commitment.

What are your thoughts on port?

What size glass are you drinking? Supposed to be consumed in very small quantities.

mmmmm..... gotta admit I don't have proper drinking glasses.... So I did the uneducated thing: Half a glass of your average large water drinking glass.

60 ml... no wonder it was tough finishing it up!

Aus, I don't know if you remember Ben but he's the Gemma's fiance, the one that got so drunk that night they wouldn't let him into St Pat's. After a night on the tiles I offered him a port and Alicia got up and poured it for him in the kitchen and the poor lass didn't know any better and did it Cashy style in a schooner!

Of course he drank it anyway haha
