Default Props to an ebay store

I just had to post about this.

When I was in Singapore last year I saw a watch that I really liked. I bargained the shop keepers down to about $AU575 but didn't end up picking one up. It would be well over $1000 if this model was sold here.

Then when I got back to Sydney I noticed ebay stores in Singapore listed them even cheaper. When I saw one for sale for $305 on Friday night I couldn't resist.

Paid about $350 including shipping and insurance.

And it arrived this afternoon!

Now that is good service. If anyone is in the market for a middle of the range watch I highly recommend them.

Damn I love Singapore!

Lets hope its not a really good knock off.

I'll have a good look however at their store. I'm in need of a new watch.

Aus... if in any doubt whatsoever there is an unique serial number printed on the back of the case of the Seiko watch. You can verify the originality of the seiko watch by providing the serial number to SEIKO CORPORATION for verification. Alternatively, you can also take the seiko watch to your nearby authorized Seiko dealer watch shop and ask the staff to verify the authenticity of the watch for you.

I see that seller has a couple of complaints about fakes (albeit from a very small proportion of buyers - 1 or 2).

I have no doubts about it's authenticity. I can tell a fake.

Added to that, Seikos are not really worth copying.

In Asia a fake brand name watch can be bought for around $10-$12 dollars. They'll copy anything and everything.... including iPhones

Well I've been to Indonesia and China and seen and played with (hmm, and bought) my fair share of fakes.

If you're suggesting that there is some mysterious manufacturer that makes fully functional replicas of very complex middle of the range watches then that is news to me.

PS: Serial number is 780043
