I am aware of both meanings. I'm also aware that it is the name of a short story by Ian Fleming and refers to a period of kindness that can make or break a relationship.
to be honest , i wasnt impressed , chase scences were too hard too follow ( bad camera work) .
the movie just lacked "mojo" i tried to like it ... but left dissapointed . The bad guy just wasnt bad enough IMO and he didnt have a trade mark defect either , which is uncool ehehhee
i dont think you can quality Olga as a "Bond girl" cause Bond didnt shag her
and is it just me . or the villian looks just like Rupert from the Hello Deli from the Late show ?
I saw it thursday night at a CareFlight charity function.
I was impressed. I love the way the Bond image has been reborn for the 21st century. Less hammed up lines and goofy karate chops, more dialog and action.
With regard to the name, before I saw the movie I thought it was dumb. To be specific it seemed pretentious.
Having seen the movie my opinion hasn't changed. The evil organisation is called Quantum so there is half a tie in. But there is no solace from this firm. Continuum of Malice would be more accurate but no less nerdy.
As for the villian not having a defect, have you noticed his eyes?
