Default Shipping from the states

Hi Guys,

Planning on buying this 2nd hand intake and shipping it to aus.

I've pm'd the lad and he's asking what shipping can he do.

Can anyone recommend some shipping companies that don't charge a fortune and send packages at a reasonably fast rate, say 2-3 weeks.

Cheers,

But in my experience you get it in 4 days. 747s can only fly so slow.

Mine is ALWAYS 14 days to the day, if not slightly longer.
Arrives in Aus in about 2-3 days when its received by customs... where it sits... for about 2-7 days, then sent up here by road or air, then to the local distribution centre the next day, then to my local post office the next day, where I then get a pink slip to pick it up the next day after 4pm.

Whole ordeal is almost exactly 10 business days / 14 days in total from sent to received.

I guess that is the difference living in a hick town. Stuff gets delivered to me much quicker but then my mum's basement is pretty close to Sydney CBD.

I didn't think Sydney was a hick town

Delivery time has varied, in my experience. Some items arrive in a few days, with others taking several weeks. I guess several factors are involved, but it's never consistent.

True. I guess your Blacktown is like our Ipswich, and your Bankstown, is like our Logan. But can you top Woodridge? Parts of people's cars are known to get stolen as they drive through the suburb, even the AusPost van!
