Default Thinking of offloading the ITR

Does anyone know if I could contact Iggy? (the one who has/had the yellow Elise years ago)

I'm offloading the integra, and my options are:

- WRX STi hatch (not EVO X, no fold down rear seats and boot size is pitiful)

or

- Lotus Elise + a 10k beater to lug my camera gear around on shoots.

Am I crazy? Have I lost my mind? Most people think so when I mention the L E word

I'll go for Lotus Elise and a wagon beater. What kind of camera gear are you lugging around. Studio lights, stands etc?

yeah owning two cars means I can pick something totally impractical and zero compromise for my toy.

Just wondering how Iggy went with his Elise in the long term. Whether he got sick of it or not. Whether he feels it needed the extra power of the 111R etc.

I have a lot of camera gear - it barely fits in the integra but the integra is a hatchback with deep boot space and fold down rear seats. I have a lot of large pelican cases and long poles (i.e ski port required if rear seats don't fold down)

I too have been thinking, BA Falcon Wagon + Elise S (new).

Does anyone know whether Iggy still has his Elise? Or whether he offloaded it at some point for something else?

Elise S with 100kw...hrmm haha I test drove one a while ago...it would be good if it's a track only car but that would probably only suit a slower, tighter track...

I also thought about the elise + daily but I thought I wouldn't end up driving the daily, btw 2nd hand exiges are getting around the mid 60k mark now and they all have the 141kw Celica engine!

Proper engineering substantiates, BTW those Brembo rear calipers have no problems stopping even in competition.

Was the Elise owner named Iggy? I remember the guy. Had a yellow Elise with custom plates.

You're not confusing him with Iggy_Type_R who owned a red Type R then a Jeep, then a 350Z are you?

he means this guy on the cruise 3.5 years ago

BTW , my neighbour went from an S2000 to an Elise , he reckons overall the S2000 was a better car. He got use to living with the Elise as his daily . He recently upgraded to a C63 AMG .
