Default The ute got broken into

Stayed at a gf's apartment last night and parked the ute downstairs.

This morn I got into it and as I sat down saw something round on the seat. It was the door lock barrel. Some thieves had jimmied the door lock.

I checked what was missing. Some change from the centre console. Less than $10. They had left some and there were gold coins in the forward console. The stereo was intact. It's a fairly nice Sony I paid a grand for in 2001. It has an Active Black Panel display so it's not obvious it's a stereo.

Who knows. All I know is they did some panel damage forcing the lock. Kinda dumb really considering the door was unlocked. Morons.

Better than the S getting the lock jimmied.... still sux ass though.
Wonder how you'd be able to wire a sharp electric current through your door handles and lock??? May make them more angry, but at least it'll make the insurance claim worth it.
