Default Brake pads

I'm after a new set of brake pads for the S.

I usually buy Race Brakes RB74 for the front and Comp2 for the rear but they are out of stock and don't return phone calls.

Any other suggestions for high performance brake pads? I desparately needs rears.

Try endless? I heard they are virtually dust free. Going to try a set myself.

I've been using (the much talked about it seems) Ferodo DS2500s for a while now (gone through 2 sets front, one set rear). Very little squel, but they can get dusty. I've been pretty happy with them, considering they're only about 200 bucks a corner.

I use endless SSM they are excellent, they are fitted on the type r and the s2000.

I went to the track with the S2000 and the brakes were great, no squeal and not too dusty. I don't hink you worry too much about dust though!

I got them from edw-r on Oz Honda, fast delivery.

Project Mu HC+ front and rear here... Absolutely no fade at all on the track... kinda worried me actually.
On the street they're somewhat dusty and squeel (I need to get my rotors machined/pads refitted =P).
Excellent track pads though! I got front and rears for just under $400 landed from Japan.

I use to use QFM (Queensland Friction Materials) A1M/K700 (maybe K800 or something?) on my S14, not sure if they make them for the S2000 though. They don't fade much/at all on track, don't squeel... make a little bit of dust... but the pedal feel wasn't superb? They're under $300 for front and rear. Check them out if you can.
I heard from SAU guys that the pads are very similar to the RB74s... and that one of the guys who developed the RB74s broke off and made these? I've never used RB74s so I wouldn't know...

Otherwise Ferrodo DS2500s are good too.. just a bit pricey like the HC+... and dusty =P
Held up at Philip Island quite well considering I didn't use RBF600 on the day

I'm currently using Endless CCR. mate u cannot go wrong with them on the track. no matter how hard u push da 2k, those pads won't fade. but the trade off is excessive amount of brake dust and it gets loud when its heated.

If you want something more for the street, try Endless SSS (I think 0 - 500 degrees) they r pretty reliable. and if u do trackdays occasionally try Dixcel (AP racing) I've purchase the Z pads (approx. 0-800 degrees) but yet to be fitted cuz my CCR still got plenty of meat left.

Hey Mad,

Do you also use these pads for the street? I am seeing different information online and cannot figure out if the working temp for these start at 0 degrees or 50 degrees. I am looking at the SSM but don't want it to squeak everytime there's no heat in em.

Cheers.
