Engineering means you have to get a mechanical engineer to look over your car and have them sign a declaration that mods fit within Australian standards and are safe. Aftermarket seats may also require engineering.

SL55 was nothing, I miss my track toy s14 and the ability to insure and drive cars at tracks a lot easier than here with some decent drivers. And dont get me started on european tracks and the good old nurburgring.

I have at least 1 ring trip booked before I leave I gotta redo-it before taking off. I do live not too far from brands too and this is one of the best place to drive I reckon. yet you have to move on and these days an overall better lifestyle matters more to me than the occasional track drive. We're racing in the Timeattack here with a k21 rotrex CRX, and I am defo going to miss that side of things.
Then again starting a new project fresh is quite exciting too !

Nice one, yeah brands is awesome, I'll never forget the first time I took the first corner at full throttle and had a 'moment', unforgettable!

Now about that bb hardtop......

I'm in 2 minds about shipping the s2k now... I mean I love that car but maybe it's time to move on And when I see that how cheap skylines are a replacement might be quickly found. (I know completely different car and all that...). Getting the BMW in Oz and then selling it might make much more sense. they are outrageously expensive in Oz and so common here.

Anyway I will likely have a container, so if you want me to bring a hardtop then I'm sure we can talk close to the time dude. That's if you're still in oz by then!

And yeah I had my fair share of frights at brands "that" corner is like nothing else
