replacement keys?

Default replacement keys?

hey guys

my mate has an ap1 and hes lost his keys.

WTF?? i know but hes stressing and out and might need replacement oem ignition and door barrels, keys and alarm system.

any clue how much this will cost?

You can get new keys programmed into the ECU.

If you have the VIN number honda can contact head office and get the numeric key code. A locksmith can use this code to cut the physical teeth onto the key

Cost will be for the new keys, an hour to program them, and an hour to cut the teeth onto them.

any rough estimate on price?

will there be 1 valet key and one normal key right?

I got my key re-coded when i bought my car and got a spare made up, i think the new key cost me around $150 and to re-code the key i think was about $50 not 100% sure but will check the invoice when i get home after work...

i think thats a requirement when buying a used car isnt it, make sure all keys r there. otherwise, i would be a little wary of buying from a s2000 from tariq with just one key. im guessing that waking up the next day could prove exciting
