Default S2000 with White XD9s

Hi All

I've finally received my wheels and had them fitted on, guards rolled extremely and Suspension adjusted extremely. Plastic trim beneath guards cut and adjusted. Screws that held the rear bumper to the guard relocated. And within one day of driving it on the road. The police decided to give me a nice present for the wheels sticking out too much and at the same time they quoted "it's a shame, they look so nice".

anyway. now see below for the good stuff.

can see my reflection in this one

can see the key marks on some of the photos

ANYWAYS!! there's alot more on my photobucket page.. http://photobucket.com/ALPS2K

Wheels look good. What reason(s) did they give for defecting you?

Hate to say it but what you expect man? It's melbourne, can't do shit here end of story. Plus, your area - good luckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk getting around the cops there they are everywhere!!!!!!!!!!

I'm avoiding copping any canaries cause it's a headache now and in a couple months going to be ridiculous to pass them. may as well try to keep your car as legal as possible.

well.. i just need to physically find out what the maximum spec i can run is and get it set to that. i need to find a good engineer to do it. i have like three options. Flare the body out. buy side strakes and rear add on lips. buy upper ball joints so the wheel can be tucked in some more.

Nice wheels man. So is there a way to get around the cops at all in Melbourne? Such as mod plating? Perhaps a wide body might just work? man that key scratch is Ouch!
Really curious as I was planning to take my car to Melbourne next year for about six months for work.

Seriously though, it's very ostentatious, and negatively affects the cars handling. And the P plate just rounds off the story.

I don't see why anyone is surprised by this.

even if u tuck the wheels/tyres under the guard with some ball joints,
they can still get u just with the amount of camber!

I'd say put the stockies back on and get the defect cleared.

Then make your decision: do I save up for a wide body kit to fit the wheels.... or sell 'em.

If you're flush with money it's a no brainer.
