hey guys,
ive recently encountered a problem with my s2000. When im in gear usually in 2nd or third, when i push the throttle hard after the gear is engaged, the car some how revs in neutral, once i let go of the throttle it goes back into the gear, im not sure what it is and for some reason as well the car has a abnormally high friction point as well.... any help would be appricated guys

 

Worn clutch. It is slipping. Does it do it worse when going up a hill?

your clutch is gone buddy, happen to mine last month, when i was driving i had to keep it under 2k or else it would rev. lol. was not drivable. get it chenged before you cant drive your car and have to pay for towing

 

my MY00's went just before my 80K service. The service with a new clutch was just over 3K.

 

Exedy Organic sports clutch is about $350 or there bouts. Installation is around $300. Just some rough prices.

The Exedy sports organic is very similar to stock feel but bites quicker IMO.

mines on 107k, and first clutch...
