There seems to be a difference in that video but I didn't really notice much while driving with the air box top on and off. Maybe it's cause I never revved it passed 4k or cause the hood was down?

I kinda wanna do this mod but I think I'd rather do it on a spare exhaust incase I want to go back to the original one.
Get on the loud pedal and you will notice a big difference in the sound with the airbox lid off. You must be drivin' Miss Daisy to not notice the difference
Probably lol, I've never really gone passed 5.5k personally. If I remember correctly, the last time it hit vtec was probably when the seller demonstrated it to me during the test drive cause I didn't want to seem like I was thrashing her car around despite her being cool with it ^^

or it could be cause my top was down the whole time :S I'll try again next week or something.

umm it's going to sound stupid but I just somewhat feel sorry for making the car work harder than it has to. Besides in the S you could easily reach the speed limit in 2nd gear and then you'd be way over the limit if you did the same in 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th gear so I'd rather just shift like I normally do in my daily ^^

you shouldn't feel sorry for the car. as long as u maintain it properly, it can handle being revved to 9k all day, every day ;-)

yeah I guess so,

Sorry this is off topic but do you service yours through Honda? Bit unsure if I should go back to factory with mine.

Good Video from a 44mm mod, some saying there is very little difference in overall noise between different sized.

Sorry mate, I'm in Melbourne.

I just went on the yellow pages and searched for exhaust shops in my area.

Ask for a quote for each shop, i paid $80.

Goodluck!
