i think it's for noise regulations.

I was thinking the same thing. Sort of like Lime Rock. Races cannot be held there on Sunday, as the track was built right next to the old stone church and this agreement was set up a long time ago. In fact I believe you can't even start a race engine in the garage or paddock area at Lime rock on Sunday.
