Another Fiasco?
The wing controversy is quite out of hand and a protest by teams against Ferrari seems certain. Will protesting teams run?

[QUOTE]Following the controversy that surrounded the legality of Ferrari's front and rear wings at last weekend's Malaysian Grand Prix, both McLaren and BMW have revealed that they will be changing their wings ahead of the next championship outing, in Australia. Ferrari's wings had been suspected of flexing at high speed, in order to generate less downforce, thus increasing straight-line speed, and reducing drag. Both the teams in question were asked by FIA's Charlie Whiting to change the wings in order to comply with regulations, although they were not publicly told.

Ferrari to bring new wings to Melbourne
Wednesday, 22 March 2006
In what could effectively end the 'flexi' wing saga, Ferrari has now joined BMW-Sauber and McLaren in confirming that it will run a new wing design in Melbourne next week. But team manager Stefano Domenicali was not in a confessional mood, telling 'sport.de' that the revised Australia-spec wings were always part of the scarlet camp's plans. ''We would have brought new, developed wings (to Melbourne) anyway,'' he said. ''It is part of our intended development programme.''

fia will never be able to write an iron clad rule pretaining to wings. renaults use of acuostic tapes from the race to prove the speed increase of the ferrari is way cool.

From my other thread...
