Interesting to see a V10 placed in P6. Cant say I'm terribly surprised at that, or Speed and Sato being down the pack. Personally I thought that BMW-Sauber would be the team to beat this year. But who knows, cant really judge off the first practice. At the very least it's going to be an interesting season.

I am happy that Tak is only six seconds off the pace. Not bad considering it's a modified Arrows car. Who knows if they get a new chassis there could be some good mid pack racing. Go Honda!!

 

I don't recall seeing speeds during the broadcast. Obviously the lap times aren't down, but are the trap speeds?

I think the other drivers (especially Michael) are happy, one less driver overcooking a corner and crashing into the rest of the pack to worry about.
