I definitely prefer the new format over the single lap format.

Last session almost looked like a mini race and the tires actually had some time to actually warm up and come into some grip.

With the tire change rule being ELIMINATED - YAY FINALLY, all Bridgestone runners will have a much better chance AND safety will be IMPROVED! Bernie.....

are toyotas sandbagging or do they really really suck, were the drivers were lost in the desert sands? i keep thinking toyota is the next big thing and yungotts.
so far, i can tell you that the entire Toyota team are on a complete "downer" .. RS got caught in traffic and lost the temperature in his tires and was sliding around for most of the lap .. downright pathetic.. again, don't send him out if he can't warm up the tires then ?? They claim they are continually hampered by their aero pkg and tires. Furthermore, they are in complete "organizational" disarray as Ralf came back to the pits saying "we must change this, we gotta do that!" , and he and this engineer didn't realise that he got knocked out. Fvcking pathetic !!

they aren't sand bagging, they are simply sucking..

I love the team, but in no way am making any excuses for them.. I'm expecting them to be mid grid at best this year.. and hopefully HEADS WILL ROLL including both drivers, come end of season as they're in for another disastrous campaign this year..

So... what are the best theories about Kimi's wing? The camera coverage sucked (started when the wing was already loose). How many positions will Kimi make up during the race. I'm betting he finishes sixth.

Button's qualifying was impressive but let's see if he can be consistent in a race (not his strong suit).

And why is Sato driving grandma's Buick out there? They couldn't come up with something better?

Oh and how about little sourpus Massa during the interviews? "I'd like to thank Gian Carlo for helping me lose pole position." [paraphrased]

Good Lord, somebody get that guy some media training, and stop frickin' sniveling already! What a dolt.

Simon, Doug here...

That's like one of the all time classic lines; nice job.

Hi f1_fanz, this is Triple-H, I'm just not at home...

I'm not going to say I completly disagree with you, because in many ways you are right, but let me at least say I'm thinking Massa deserves to be cut a little slack. Massa has never in my mind been subjected to the public eye so this is all new territory for him. However, let's take a second and consider for a moment this little shit was out on track trading pole positions with the 7-time world champion driver. Those factors added together I'm sure are the reason he was looking a little ragged in the public's eye.

And let me also say, if this little shit can bring this kind of result to Ferrari this year, you can bet Montizemello (sp?) will whip him right into shape.

Exactly my point. IMO he should have been elated with what he accomplished today! Instead he sat there resting his chin in his hand, looking for all the world like a kid who had his candy taken away and was sent to sit in the corner.

At least Rubino always wore an ear-to-ear grin for the cameras.
