Same here.

Yeah Matchett is quite knowledgable since he worked for Beneton but Brundles on track experience is hard to match.

On that subject, I highly recommend Matchett's books - Mechanic's Tale and The Chariot Builders. Light and enjoyable reading.

Also, Murray Walker's book Unless I'm very much mistaken is also a great read. He's led an extraordinary life - it's easy to forget that beneath that goofy overexcited (I mean that in the nicest way possible) overgrown kid is a very smart knowledgable man.

Look for past episodes of Sir Murray on David Letterman

Dave loves him!!!

Varsha just Sucks. He is a Professional correct? How is it that a professional can make at LEAST 10 mistakes a race and still have a job?

Hobbs is another twit, but at least he is funny

Matchett... definately the only 1 i would want on my commentating crew.

Beer?? I am seriously pondering a trip to Toronto/?? to watch a race(Spain or 1st German race)with you non civilized F1 fans!!! I do NOT drink Red beer. I do not drink Honey Brown, or Guiness either. I suggest you have IMPORTED Pilsners, Lagers, Ales, and Pale Ales ready and chilled for my arrival. I will offer my cooking services... Sorry Dougie.. no burgers and hot dogs.. i was thinking civilized food(call me Molto Marco)..The other Marco can judge my culinary skills.

Imola is an Amazing adventure... i talked with a guy at Imola in 02 who has attended over 18 of them..he told me he brings his dog (Saint Bernard) to every race... the people (99,999 Ferrari fans and 1 Civilized (ME) Honda F1 Fan)
Great food and wine in the Emilia Romagna region.

I am in seat 9 row A Stand H for USGP.. If I get hit in the head with a red beer at Indy.. Doug, im kicking your Uni Brow ASS

You say your comin' - I'll plan it on my end!

PS - I will have an assortment of beers to choose from - I'm sure you'll find one you like...

Holy crap, I hate the new track map. Is H way down at the other end of this illustration, just before turn One?

I'm in NW Vista only a few rows down from the top. It has taken me years to get up that hight.

Yeah Doug, I am 2 stands to the right of you.. in braking area for 1st corner. I had the same seats Last yr but in J, so this year I wanted to be on top of the 1st corner... PLUS... since my marksmenship is not what it once was, I need to be closer to assassinate CERTAIN drivers!!!

Now before any of you Non Civilized F1 fans chime in, please remember...
Last year Honda was caught cheating, they appolgized, and said it was unintentional...
I am an Italian American, with a serious affinity for Honda... by NO stretch of the imagination am I Above cheating!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Matrix: I have a break mid may, I Might be able to do Nurburgring, but Barcelona (5/14) might be better. the day before is my Bday. So if i cook, can i crash at your house??? how long can I stay.. dont worry Id leave monday!
