Default Chris A. Amon 1943-2016
Chris Amon, former F1 driver and co-driver of one of the GT40's that won LeMans in 1966 has died. Though he never won a Grand Prix race he was considered a great driver by his peers. Condolences to his family,friends and the F1 community.

He was codriving the first GT40 that won at LeMans along with Bruce Mclaren

I was waiting for this to reach the Sunbeam Tiger community, because he was an owner back then. Interestingly, I haven't seen anything there yet.
