So I remember hearing that back when the new teams were making their bids that someone "unofficially" told them that if their team was not using the new cosworth engines that it was pointless to make their bids as they wouldn't even be considered. But then I read somewhere that it was stipulated officially that all new teams had to use cosworth engines... can someone clarify this for me. If this indeed true how long do they have to use these engines? After 2010 can they go and seek a new engine provider?
