I'm hoping Robby Gordon and the Speed Energy HUMMERS improve/possibly win the overall race.

 

Not gonna like, I thought this was gonna be about how you wanted to take your new Cobalt SS on the Dakar Rally.

Is it going to be on TV any in the US?

 

Why do they still call it Dakar, when it is now held in South America (moved because of terrorist threats)?

 

Because the ASO needs to call it something, and the "Dakar Series" is a great link to the history of the event. (There are two, btw: the South American one and a Russian one too - the "Silk Way Rally." They plan on adding more if the interest is there.)

 

I believe it will be on the VERSUS channel.
There will be daily videos from both the DAKAR.com website & PlanetRobby.com.

It's sad to say, but I don't think no matter how bad I want but Robby wont be able to win until they convert the Hummers to 4wd. There is just to many stages that cater to the awd vehicles.

 

Yep, looks like VERSUS is carrying 30-min highlights each day, starting Sunday the 2nd.
