Discuss the German GP
I'll admit LH has the potential to choke, just as Ferrai has the potential to fight back. It won't make me too much less of a fan. I've always preferred brilliance over consistency. He'll lose my vote if his head swells up too much. Sure I hear him say dumb things but he's still more humble than other leading drivers.
They screwed up his pit strategy and Heike should have finished ahead of Lewis. I'm okay with team play but that pass was too much for me to stomach. Heike needed to smoke a tire for a second or two to make that palatable.
It seems to me that Alonso is THE reason Renault made such a dramatic improvement. He continues to prove his worth but I won't root for him. Bad attitude. But I see him as the most valuable driver on the circuit right now.
Felipe is doing well but his moments of brilliance are too far between. I think the car just suits him, unlike Kimi.

HK was not fast enought to challenge LH. Not sure how you figure
HK should have finished in front of LH.
FM & NP couldn't even hold LH's charge to the front.

Ineresting, all so many people were are all up in arms when Ferrari enacted team orders back in the MS days when it had yet to be banned, but now that McClaren clearly do it, it's all ok?
If that had been a race for 1-2, there is no way HK would have just let LH go by so easily. But it wasn't for 1-2. It was so LH could go after FM. In my mind (and apparently in HK's mind), that's a different story.

F1 amazes me at times, it is supposed to be the best of the best, and sometimes it just seems like the show is run by a bunch of hacks...
IRL and especially CART have had better medical response teams than almost any other series for decades.

I moderate here, there are no personal attacks tolerated.
I suspect Marco will take your reply as one, I know I would.
PM sent.
I'm actually in favor of unmoderated groups, for the most part. But worse than moderation is moderation going after the wrong targets.

I wasn't "all up in arms" back then, but even so -- there is a big difference between being a faster car forced to let a slower car go by for the win versus being a slower car allowing a faster car to go by.

I think that's parody, not an attack. Seriously, Doug, Marco's antics are the root cause of the problem, not people's response to Marco.
If anybody needs to be warned and/or banned, it is Marco.

"Thinking" it was a parody was the problem, meaning, it was not 100% clear as to what exactly it was, and if there was a chance it was an attack, and it could easily been read that way I could not act by taking no action.
I'm all for unmoderated groups trust me, and as just about any reader who comes through these pages can see, it is fairly relaxed here. And you are clearly entitled to your opinion, however, you do not have all the facts and I took the actions that were needed to clean up the confusion.
