Uhm... I'm not a huge Lewis fan, but the boy can pass.

 

There's a huge anti-Hamilton crowd in this forum. If the guy says anything, he's either whining or boasting. If he wins it's because he had the best car, but if he loses it's because of his driving. Etc.

I'm still not sure what he did to piss all these people off, except maybe to be too successful, too fast. Alonso used to get the same sort of bitching from the same people.

 

imho both alonso and hamilton r fast drivers. its their attitudes that piss me off. not saying shit about them becuz i support ferrari, but when kimi was in mclaren i rooted for him. right now no one is bagging on alonso becuz he is not winning races and being cocky. if u r as good as hamilton and alonso u can be cocky but to a certain extent be4 it becomes annoying. since alonso isnt winning races he hasnt really complained about his team like he did in the second half of the 06 season. they r amazing drivers, but i dont like their attitudes. this my opinion and i dont want to get into a full on argument about this. the person who really despises hamilton would have to be marco. if i get flamed or not, my opinion will stay the same.

 

There is a sizeable 'anti' faction against all drivers imho.

If KR says 'what MM does is none of my business...' he is labeled an idiot etc.

LH is blasted globally for his gaffe in Canada (not only on this forum). I have to admit that his way of expressing himself annoys me, thus I am critical of him.

However, have a look at my comparison I posted earlier.

In 2005 KR was in the same situation as LH is now. Dropped 10 places to 13th in Magny-Cours due to a penalty and driving a Mclaren. KR fought himself to 2nd. Now since LH is supposed to be so much better at driving/racing than KR (as per opinions also on this forum) he should at least do a similar feat.

Will he? I don't know, but if he is to become a WDC he really should show us something spectacular...

 

Anyone got a feed that doesn't have this weird noise in it? I've got an ITV feed but theres this weird sound on it its not too bad but annoying.

 

Notice that I was the person who defended him. I'm not a Hamilton fan, per se. I just think this anti-Hamilton bandwagon is stupid. The very things people are complaining about (being a young, cocky, hotshot) are exactly the same traits ALL successful pro racecar drivers have. I can understand a fan of birdwatching to be bothered by that, but a fan of auto racing ought to be really used to it by now.
