However, he's only brilliant when everything is going his way. The second things aren't going perfect for him, he falls apart. It's quite a lot of fun to watch. I never thought I would say this, but I'm actually pulling for Alonso to beat Lewis now.
Its funny to watch him race the slower cars. He gives it a very hard go for a couple of laps and if does not pass then completely loses it.

The French GP threads are unusually quiet. Seems all the LH buttwipers are swimming around in his toilet bowl after another shitty performance. ROFL
I have been so caught up working on my fall sporting roadster tour I completely forgot there was a race.
I remember checking the SPEED TV schedule and just completely forgot about FOX carrying this one.Now I'm even madder, not only did I miss a race, but I missed a chance to see LH screw up, or, should I say, perform at his best...
I think the best part of his season 2 is the fact that his true character is coming to the surface.

This is 100% on target!
Complete domination from Ferrari this race.
I was very surprised at the lack of pace from the BMWs - didn't expect that.
I have to laugh at McLaren thinking they were harshly treated with penalties. LH should have given the position back immediately - it happened on the first lap! He is in a McLaren, a supposedly much faster car then the STR, so he should have been able to get him later...

I'm ambivalent about the penalty. I mean, he was clearly past before the chicane. Yes, he would not have stayed ahead if not for cutting the chicane. But LOTS of drivers lose it after a pass into a corner. They don't get penalized for blowing the corner even if they manage to stay ahead of whoever they cut off.
Why wasn't Jarno penalized for driving into Heike (which is ALL that kept Heike from passing for 3rd near the end)?

I would argue that the drivers who keep their position after running wide let the passed car come back past within the lap. Otherwise they are penalised.
Jarno did not drive into Heikki [both Finnish names btw
], Heikki just jerked away just before contact. Imho Jarno was too aggressive, but there was no contact and he stayed on the track thus, no penalty needed.BTW Heikki feels that Jarno's racing was 100% A OK.
