Renault has been summoned to appear before the World Motor Sport Council to answer charges of utilizing technical data from McLaren.

Guess that it is time to get interested in a sport which has nothing but straight up participants....oh....say....professional wrestling.

Maybe the powers that be will just order Renault to pay Mclaren $100,000,000.00, and they can call it a day.

SSDD. However, with the stupid FIA precedent set that you must prove they used the data, not just that they had it, Renault may get treated like McLaren did originally, with no penalty except probation.

Although it does highlight (for all the McLaren haters) the probability that all of the teams engage in this kind of B.S. Some of them are just better at not getting caught

it makes sense to y renault sucked this year and mclarren were so reliable. mclarren probably took ferrari's info first knowing that another team was gonna try to get it too. so mclarren switched their info with ferrari adn renault took mclarren's instead. that is y renault had a bad season

I don't think Honda's engaged in this sort of thing.

At least I hope they are not, it would be really sad if they are so far behind despite cheating.
