Default gp2 vs f1

i was looking at my channel guide earlier and i noticed gp2 was starting this week so i woke up a little earlier to take a look at future f1 drivers and just watch some action before i catch the spanish GP

one thing has me confused though, how come in f1 at the start someone hits someone else usually ending up in a retirement, but the start of this particular gp2 race, it was clean, someone even stalled and no one hit him

Stuff happens. There were only five retirements in rounds two through four of F1 I think Varsha said. So it's not "usually" IIRC.
