do you really think he can get by kimi and alonso for the win?
I also agree that KR and FA are going to be his competition along with FM. I'm not saying I think LH will win, I'm just saying it would be one amazing thing for the stat books if he could.

Now, to answer your question, I think anything is possible, well sort of, I don't think JB winning is possible, but we have all seen strange things happen, and what I do believe is if KR or FM or FA should make some kind of error, LH stands a good chance of taking full advantage if it, in other words, I think he stands a certain degree of chance, or might just be able to get lucky. I'm not sure if I can put the whole thought in better words, but there ya go.

Could be possible. He sure is turning out to be quite a driver so far in his first 2 races!

How is it that McLaren has had such a turn around? Last year they couldn't win a race and were rarely competitive...now they are dominating.

Hamilton has thus far shown he's a fantastic driver and he will get his first win soon, maybe even this year. Everyone, and I mean everyone is expecting for him to win a race at any moment. But we should also expect he will make mistakes. He is a rookie.

I just wonder if the press will destroy him when he makes his first error in judgment. Because he's been so good, everyone expects him to be superhuman.

mclaren has the engineering resorces to ditch its current chassie and its sucessor and leap forward into their development designs to have that car on the grid for 08. they have done this in previous years when they realized that a chassie was uncompetitive and not worth bring out the next version even though it was ready to go. i think it was the mp 19 or 17 that never raced.

when you have two drivers who doesn't break your cars, you'd finish well too

Don't you remember the reserve fuel tank incident that forced them to sit out races.

LH debut is ok for now, but unless he wins 7 races this year as he is in 1 of the 2 best cars on grid then he is average at best.

JV won 6 his rookie year (1996). That was astounding as he was also in best car and his team mate won 7 and won title

FA said LH will not win this year... I kinda believe FA, as only way will be if FA cant win.. no way McLaren lets a 2 time WC who is challenging for title get beat by a guy fighting for 3/4 in drivers. FA is just like Heir Chinmacher was at Ferrari at least for time being.
