Speed was saying that Ross Brawn is looking to get Alonso to Honda next year...doesn't look good for Button.

^Serious, but HK had a pretty solid race.

O ya I didn't know til the race that toyota was also using a shark fin engine cover. As Doug mentioned in the german gp thread, I too wonder if the engine cover will be considered a moving aero part. The cameras that showed the back of the cars clearly shows that the fin is moving. Will they need to secure it like the flexing front wing bridge?

Somehow, Massa knows how to disappoint everyone. He teases with a good performances and than he goes
He drove a fantastic race, then his car went kaput. I would say it was the CAR that disappointed, not Massa.

Ya you are right, but it was like ahhhh why now. I was soo happy with the start he had and the gap he was putting between himself and hamilton. I am just bitter that he went out and Ferrari's lead isn't as big as it should. I think there was a glimpse of his wife and she was pretty. ;p

Ok last post be4 I take a little nap. I wonder if Kimi really does perform better than Massa on the softer compounds, becuz he was putting out some blistering fast times.

Congrats to HeiKki!

He had a good race and he deserved a win.

Must be disapointing for Massa but he is still in the race for the world championship.

Yep...Rubens would be a good team mate for Alonso since he wouldn't challenge for dominance. That would be good for Alonso's fragile ego. But will Honda pick up the pace? Basically, this season is a write off for Honda. Renault has been consistently a mid-packer. Would Honda be able to kick it up so that Alonso wouldn't be moving to a team with an even slower pace than Renault?

Well wouldn't next year's rules kind of even the playing field becuz of KERS development. In a way it would seem like honda and toyota may have some good insight through their hybrid cars, but it is too soon to tell. The thing is, where can you see button racing for in the future? Renault's performance in the second half of the season has been pretty strong. Both drivers finished in points today, but does FA really have an interest in Honda?

I think that Honda might have been able to lure a 2x WC with the 'we're Honda, we always succeed sooner or later' mantra if it weren't for the fact they have yet to do it. Every year seems to be "we'll get em next year"

Of course Ross Brawn might be able to lure Alonso with 'I'm Ross Brawn, I always succeed sooner or later'
