IRL is a Joke!
Maybe you are not familiar witht he size of Watkins Glen and that is why they appear to be slow. I can assure you the IRL cars ARE NOT slow around The Glen, as I have seen them live several times there.
My only issue with IRL is quantity. The look and the sound is just fine to me, but there are too few cars on track. I pray for the day Champ and IRL can/could come together as one...
Who knows, maybe Tony George will be more open minded to that posability if he ends up loosing the US F1 GP.

^ it was mentioned that the US GP may be relocated from Indy to NYC, or Vegas, in years to come during the US GP coverage on Speed weeks ago

It's common knowledge the US GP contract with Indy ended in 2007. Bernie and Tony, as one would expect are having a hard time coming together. Bernie wants 20 mil in cash up front and 50% of the gross, Tony thinks this is way too much money.
In my mind I'm just wondering now that Tony has worked to add to the Indy 500 event the NASCAR Brickyard and the F1, if he looses the F1 would he reflect a bit and decide it is in his interest to try and make the IRL more than it is today. The Glen had something like 14 cars, for The Glen that is in a word pathetic. The starting grid for BMW CCA Club racing was in the 60's, and in the days of IMSA Camel GT and Firestone Firehawk these starting grids of 50+ cars was normal. Trust me when I say 14 cars on The Glen's track is like watcjing paint dry.
