I'm not a huge fan of IRL or CART, but this is my track, I feel like I have grown up there. The fact that I have seen The Glen go from a time where we thought it was going to go back to farm land to a point where it is today is an amazing change. I plan to be at the IRL race just because this is my home track, and I'm so excited!!!

Now, other than cheering for Danika, who should I cheer for?

I'll stick my neck out and say that the sports car series that race at the glen are "real" races.

IRL sucks.

I would not argue with that for a nanosecond! I have not missed a Grand AM race in years and years, and in fact the early '90s had the 12-hour IMSA races and the 24-hour Firehawk races and they are some of the very best in my book.

And I'm curious, the radio spots here are advertising the fact that there will be some special F1 cars doing some laps, but I have seen no info on what era they come from...
