[QUOTE=TriaXenginE,Jul 8 2008, 01:38 AM] I mean, why cheer on a shitty driver? So you can groan and be disappointed every sunday a race is on? Bunch of masochists you are.

All Honda F1 fans are secretly masochists Oh please finish in last place again, it excites me to no end

I also sometimes root for Heikki too He seems like a good kid and obviously appreciates the opportunity he has right now.

Plus it makes my friend Doug

RB has many more past experiences driving turds. Four years in a Jordan will do that to a driver.
you forget the years spent at Stewart as well

This board is wacky. Hamilton is made fun of and Button is made excuses for.

Some people just can't face the reality that Button was never really the up-and-comer that the Honda fans thought he would be. And then Hamilton comes along and shows them what a real up-and-comer looks like....

Hamilton, Kubica, Heidfeld, Kovalainen: these guys are the next generation. Maybe even Sutil, if anybody ever gives him a car. For that matter, Alonso is younger than Button and has 2 series championships under his belt. Button is going to be lucky to ever get another win in F1.
Heidfeld is far too old to be considered the next generation .

Rosberg yes, Heidfeld no

Because that's what being a true fan is about. Bandwagon/fair weather fans only root for a team when the team has success. True fans stick to with the team through the thick and thin.

All the JB fans have the lamest excuses for why he can't perform. RB showed that he can drive last wknd. JB is just a one hit wonder!

I said over a year ago that Honda needs a wholesale change of people. With Ross there, they have taken the right first step. Now, they need some drivers that can actually develop a car. We know that RB is washed up even though he may be a credible test driver. JB has fallen into the same trap that Jacques fell into and even with the same team. Punt both of them and get someone that knows how to win and another that is a quick up and comer from GP2. Of course I know my friend Marco will snap over this post, but that is how I see it.

I agree with the above. Its time for Senna/Marco Andretti teammates next year. At the very least try and get Senna in. He is doing extremely well in GP2.
